"Nel complesso posso dire di aver trascorso un piacevole soggiorno, ho apprezzato molto il rapporto qualità/prezzo dell'albergo, forse si potrebbe migliorare un pò l'arredamento delle stanze, ma è soltanto un piccolo dettaglio poco importante perchè ho trovato la stanza molto pulita e in ordine." "The hotel was very convenient for La Rambla and the main tourist info centre at Place Catalunya, also for the Metro the Gothic Quarter and nearly all the main attractions. The hotel is VERY basic but VERY clean. The staff were friendly. There is NO breakfast at the hotel but loads of places to eat - virtually next door. Internet access is non existant but there is an Internet Cafe up the street that will let you plug your laptop into their sytem for a very reasonable price and they were mega helpful. The hotel had very noisy plumbing and like I said, no hot water in the evenings. It is an old building and you could hear a fair amount of ordinary noise from other clients going about their business - luckily they were not revellers! I'd stay there again for that price - make sure you pay in Erous! Take a kettle if you enjoy your cuppa..............." (99586012)
The accomodation was very convenient for the centre of the city, it was inexpensive and very clean.
I paid by credit card but was charged in pounds sterling rather than Euros and also was charged 8 Euros for that service which I did not want and would have refused if I had been given the opportunity. There was no hot water in the evenings and I had to make do with one tiny bar of soap and just two satchets of shampoo despite a three night stay!

Very conveniently located. The hotel is small but with sufficient facilities. Staff can speak a bit English, but communication is still quite difficult

It was conveniently located. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, and siteseeing.
Poor ventilation, small, and stank of stale cigarettes. Also, I was not allowed to bring friends to my room.

Low price, The location is perfect, room is clean and comfortable.
The wall of the room is too thin so that the talking on the passage and other room is loudly. No window to the outside, only one face to another wall of the building.

"Hotel Ingles is a great price for the location! It's situated near o Liceau Metro station, near La Ramblas right in the heart of Barcelona. My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful getting me orientated in Barcelona, even though I only speak English (no Spanish!)" (99459982)
