  Good location, very helpful front reception staff, breakfast was reasonable

  hotel restaurant and club weren't open on the weekend we were there; bathroom door didn't close properly (not nice when using the toilet)

  Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the sommelier and the very sweet girl on reception. (Much more so than Hungarian people in general as we had some encounters with extremely rude staff at eg the Opera House and various restaurants!) We found the theming very entertaining and that really added to the fun of our stay. The room was pretty quiet even with the windows open. And the location was very central for all the places of interest as well as the lively bars/restaurants on Liszt Ferenc Ter.

  The toilet was dirty when we arrived. We did book a twin room and were given a double. But the sofabed was adequate in the end and we probably had a larger room this way. We were disappointed that the Cotton Club was so quiet in the evenings in May as that was one of the main reasons we booked.

  "The staff was very helpful with booking sightseeing- tours for us." (99932614)

  Service minded staff, the room and the atmosfare. Very charming rooms, and it was not to far from the down town (about 20 minutes to walk).

  initial room was not up to standard poor air-con edith piaf. charley chaplin was a far better room

  nothing really breakfast could of had more variety , but still good ,attentive staff.

  "It is one of the most pleasuable stays I have had in a hotel any ware in the world The on line booking does not show the freindlyness and helpfulness of the staff this made the stay." (99109370)

  "The restaurant, cigar room and cabaret were amazing. The day and night receptionists were very polite, friendly and helpful. Great location, only a couple minute's walk to the tram, subway and train station. There were also several good restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to friends and I would stay there again." (99030584)

  The room was gorgeous and very true to the 20' and 30's theme.

  The jaccuzi needed to be cleaned. Every time we turned it on debris and hair came out of the jets. We tried to clean it and refill it three times, but it was still dirty.
